Pull-the-carpet-from-under-you... is it hip hop, trip hop or some new thing we need some lame journo sub-genre name for? Anyway, I'm fucking loving this. Thanks to the last decent music writer to come from the Melody Maker/NME axis of evil, Neil Kulkarni, for pointing the way. Read his blog. It makes me not hate music. And also realise I've been ignoring way too much great stuff these last few years.
